Chapter History

The Pima County Professional Chapter was created and granted provisional status at Grand Gathering in Tucson, AZ in July 2013. In July 2014, the chapter was chartered as the Eta Pi Chapter. Four sisters created the chapter: JoLynn Begay, Carrie Chizh, Nazune Menka and Eliza Yellowbird John, all sisters who had joined the sorority in their undergraduate years. Sisters who have recently graduated with an undergraduate degree or moved to the area have also recently transferred membership to the Eta Pi Professional Chapter.

The sisters pride themselves on maintaining success in thier personal and professional lives and work in areas such as education, engineering, rangeland management, & environmental chemistry.

The sisterhood welcomes interest from women who are dedicated to the sorority's mission.

Left to Right: Eliza Yellowbird-Johns, Nazune Menka, Carrie Wood, JoLynn Begay, and Monika Honeyestewa.
